Welcome to Hawks Prairie Mens Club

On behalf of the Hawks Prairie Men's Club, the Board of Officers would like to welcome you to our club. Our goal is to make Golf Fun, Challenging, and a Positive Social Experience.

There are many benefits to membership in the Hawks Prairie Men's club. Among these, is the USGA GHIN Handicap privilege. This allows for play at club events and all GHIN network clubs allow for golfers to post scores where they play and have those scores routed back to their home club. Our membership fees also pay for funding of merchandise prizes at club events. Lastly, but probably the most important is that you can join in the comradeship and competition that being part of a great club tends to promote. We look forward to seeing you on the course as a member of our great club!

*NEWS FROM THE SHOP*

Currently there are 17 two man teams signed up for the 2-man best ball tournament Saturday May 17th.  We are hoping to double that by Thursday! Clear your schedule and sign you and your partner up for great fun and competition on the Woodlands course and lunch after the tourney.  Gross and Net payouts as well as KP's and skins will be awarded.  $70.00 gets you green fees, cart, and covers your entry fee.  Please pre-pay in the golf shop by Wed. evening.   

The 2008 Masters tournament is in the books. John Hairston fired a Gross 77 in less than favorable weather to take 1st place gross.  1st place net went to Ray "Pin Seeker" Collins with a net 72.  There were some exceptional shots made on Friday and Saturday with Doug Kramer sticking it to 37" on #6, and Rob Sawatzky winning two of the four KP's.  However the award for the most amazing shot of the tourny goes to Curtis Bryan who made a gross 2 (double eagle) with his 5 iron on #9.  Congrats to Curtis!
