Announcing The 2012 Single person 18 Hole League

When: Weekly (you choose the day and time)

Format: Single Person Stroke Play

January 15^th-March 17^th  with the playoff round on March 17^th at 3pm.

Each individual must complete the weekly scheduled course during the assigned week unless they speak to the owners about arranging it for a different date.

The league including regular season and playoffs will run from January 15^th, 2012 to March 17^th, 2012. Women will play from the red tees and the men from the blue tees.

A handicap must be established prior to the beginning date which involves playing four pre-established courses at a reduced price of $10 for each one (unless you have already done this).  Handicaps will be adjusted weekly after the league rounds are registered.

The format will be individual stroke play 

Each player will play his/her own ball for the entire round. The person with the lowest (net) score will be declared the weekly winner. Points will be accumulated during the entire league season and will be used to determine the participants that will advance to the playoff round (March 17^th at 3pm). Individual player points will be tracked and weekly prizes will be awarded.

League entry will be $40.00 to be used to establish your league handicap.  A fee of $20.00 per person per week will be charged for simulator time (this is less than it costs for normal play). In the event of a no-show, the person will forfeit their match but players are eligible for weekly prizes.

A time limit for 18 holes will be a maximum of 1 ½ hour, including warm up time. In the event you are unable to finish, the player will be awarded the maximum strokes allowed for each unfinished hole. League players must pay weekly for their competitive round.

Prizes may include merchandise or free hours of simulator time.

Golf Course and Rules:

A different world class golf course will be selected for each week and all players will play from the appropriate tees. The gimmie putting distance to the flag will be set at 8 feet for all players.

There will be no mulligans allowed unless a stroke is counted incorrectly by the system. It is up to the group’s discretion to decide if the stroke was counted in error. If it is determined that a player is taking unwarranted mulligans, one stroke will be added to their score for each unwarranted mulligan. Handicaps will be adjusted weekly. For a ball that is hit out of bounds or into a hazard, an auto drop will be determined by the simulator. The honor system always applies just as if on the golf course.  The maximum score for any hole is ten.
